Your Privacy Matters

Taskplosive is designed to help you manage tasks, habits, goals, and focus sessions while collecting only the information needed to provide those features. This policy explains what information Taskplosive handles, how it is used, when it may be shared with service providers, how it is protected, and how it can be deleted.

Information Taskplosive Collects or Processes

Depending on the features you use, Taskplosive may collect or process the following categories of information:

• Account information, such as your email address, user ID, username, and sign-in provider information when you create or sign in to a Taskplosive account.
• App content and settings you create, such as tasks, goals, habits, schedules, completion history, streaks, scores, app groups, focus settings, and related timestamps.
• Subscription and trial information, such as product ID, transaction identifiers, entitlement status, expiration dates, revocation dates, and purchase environment, used to provide premium access.
• Support and waitlist information, such as your email address, message content, waitlist channel, and limited technical information such as IP address when needed for spam prevention, abuse prevention, support delivery, or website security.
• Optional analytics and diagnostic information if analytics is enabled, such as app lifecycle events, selected feature events, user ID, premium status, device or app diagnostics, and similar information used to understand reliability and improve Taskplosive. Taskplosive does not use analytics to read the text of your tasks, goals, habits, or Google Calendar events.

Some information may be stored locally on your device. If you create or sign in to a Taskplosive account, some information may also be stored with Taskplosive's backend service providers so your account, sync, premium, and support features can work.

How Taskplosive Uses Information

Taskplosive uses information only for app-related purposes, including to:

• Provide task, habit, goal, focus, scheduling, account, sync, and premium features.
• Authenticate users and maintain account sessions.
• Restore or sync app data for signed-in users.
• Verify subscription or trial access and prevent subscription abuse.
• Respond to support requests and manage waitlist submissions.
• Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve user-facing app features.
• Comply with legal, security, and platform requirements.

Google Calendar Data We Access

Google Calendar integration is optional. If you choose to connect Google Calendar, Taskplosive requests the Google Calendar permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.owned so the app can create, find, update, and delete Google Calendar events related to tasks you schedule from Taskplosive.

When you use this integration, Taskplosive may access or process the following Google user data:

• OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens returned by Google after you approve access.
• Google Calendar event colors, so you can choose a color for Taskplosive-created events.
• Calendar event details for events created or managed by Taskplosive, including event ID, calendar ID, title, description, start time, end time, time zone, selected color, and private metadata that links the calendar event to the related Taskplosive task.

Taskplosive does not use Google Calendar access to read, sell, advertise against, or analyze unrelated calendar content. The integration is used only for the user-facing calendar scheduling features shown in Taskplosive.

How We Use Google Calendar Data

Taskplosive uses Google Calendar data only to provide or improve the Google Calendar scheduling feature:

• Create a calendar event when you schedule a Taskplosive task on Google Calendar.
• Update that calendar event when you edit the related task's title, start time, duration, or color.
• Find existing Taskplosive-created calendar events so duplicate events can be avoided.
• Delete a Taskplosive-created calendar event when you remove or unschedule the related task.
• Maintain the connection to Google Calendar until you disconnect it.

Taskplosive's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Taskplosive does not sell personal information or Google user data. Taskplosive does not share Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized ads, credit evaluation, lending, data brokerage, surveillance, or training artificial intelligence models.

Taskplosive may share information with service providers only as needed to operate the app and website, such as backend hosting and authentication, email delivery, analytics, subscription verification, crash or reliability monitoring, and infrastructure security. These providers are expected to protect user data with the same or equal level of protection described in this policy and required by applicable platform rules. Taskplosive may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service from abuse or security issues, as part of a business transfer where permitted by law and platform policies, or with your explicit consent.

Data Protection

Taskplosive uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Google Calendar OAuth tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain using device-only accessibility, and Google Calendar API requests are transmitted over HTTPS. Access to Google Calendar is limited to the permission needed for the scheduling feature, and Taskplosive does not request broader Google Calendar permissions than are needed for this feature.

Data Retention and Deletion

Taskplosive retains information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the app, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. You can delete your Taskplosive account in the app. Account deletion removes user-scoped account data such as tasks, goals, habits, app groups, scores, streak state, premium entitlement records, and subscription claim records from Taskplosive's backend systems, then deletes the authentication user.

Google Calendar OAuth tokens are retained only while your Google Calendar connection remains active. You can disconnect Google Calendar in the Taskplosive app, which removes stored Google Calendar tokens from your device and stops Taskplosive from making further Google Calendar API requests. You can also revoke Taskplosive's access from your Google Account permissions page.

Calendar IDs, event IDs, selected event colors, and sync timestamps may be retained with the related task while they are needed to keep the task and calendar event in sync. When you delete or unschedule a task, Taskplosive attempts to remove the related Taskplosive-created calendar event from Google Calendar and clears the related calendar reference from the task record.

Consent and Controls

Google Calendar access is optional and requires your approval through Google's OAuth consent flow. You can withdraw that access by disconnecting Google Calendar in Taskplosive or revoking access in your Google Account. You can also choose whether to create an account, use supported sign-in providers, submit support requests, or join a waitlist. Some features may not work if you do not provide the information needed for those features.

Third-Party Services

Taskplosive may use third-party services to operate the app and website, including backend hosting and authentication providers, Apple services for Sign in with Apple and in-app purchases, Google services for Google sign-in and Google Calendar when you choose to use them, email delivery providers for support messages, website hosting providers, and analytics or diagnostics providers. Their handling of information is also governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and account settings.

Children

Taskplosive is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not create an account or connect Google Calendar. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Taskplosive, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here. If Taskplosive materially changes how it accesses, uses, stores, shares, or deletes Google user data, we will update this policy and request any required user consent before using Google user data in a new way.
